How can we help you?

Programme Analysis

Why a programme review may be necessary?

1)Accurate Progress Report: It may be that your site team is reporting that they are behind progress but have not established the causes of the delay.

2) Internal costs valuation is not equivalent to progress on-site: The site team may be saying that you are on time, but your private accounts may show that your costs are running ahead of the valuation on site.

(3) Deduction of LADs: The contractor has written to you stating that you are behind on your contract works and that they will charge damages for the delay that you caused.

Programme Review

Process

The first action will be to collate the information. We will visit the site or your offices and discuss the issues with your site staff to establish the facts.

If the contract includes an accepted programme, we will work from that, ensuring sound logic.

Analysis

We will consider what records are required to demonstrate your entitlement.

If there are condition precedent clauses, we will assist you in drafting the notices to the employer (or the employer's representative) under the contract's provisions.

When delays are reported, we can use current programme software, including Primavera P7, Asta Powerproject or Microsoft Project, to assess the likely impact of an event(s) on the progress of the work and the Completion Date.

Report

We will produce a written report, which sets out our analysis and our findings. We will append the programmes and reference the documentation which we have considered.

Our programme analysis report can be used internally, perhaps to report to the construction board to consider corrective actions, or our report can be used in any formal dispute process.
